Le Mois de la Photo du Grand Paris 2017
For the first time in April 2017, the Mois de la Photo’s footprint will grow geographically to cover the "Grand Paris", this emerging concept aiming at easing the exchanges through the Parisian belt.
96 exclusive exhibitions located in 32 communes are presented by art centres, galleries and public institutions. The selection is made up of a large and unprecedented number of contemporary French photographers.
These exhibitions have been selected by François Hébel, former director of the Rencontres d’Arles and Magnum Photos, organized by Maison Européenne de la Photographie.
The program illustrates the evolution of major photographical themes: portraits, landscapes, street and photography as raw material.
