ever exlusive - thirty years of transmediale

Encompassing around 50 events, including a conference and screening program, workshops and performances, transmediale 2017 explores how information systems and hybrid techno-ecologies have worked to destabilize the centrality of the “human.” The program presents new notions of subjectivity as well as of accounting for the increasing role of the “nonhuman.”

Am 2. Februar 2017 wird das dreitägige Festivalprogramm im Rahmen von ever elusive im Haus der Kulturen der Welt eröffnet. Das rund 50 Veranstaltungen umfassende Festival erforscht im Konferenz- und Screeningprogramm, in Workshops und Performances, wie Informationssysteme und hybride Technoökologien an der Dezentrierung des Menschen mitgewirkt haben. Das Programm präsentiert neue Vorstellungen von Subjektivität angesichts der immer wichtiger werdenden Rolle des Nichtmenschlichen.
