Images, Texts and Textures
The fascination for the magical world of paper and handwriting as personal element of expression is the leitmotiv of this exhibition. Out of affect and curiosity for booklets, agendas, and notebooks of people close to him, the artist has used a scanner to create images much larger than their actual size while at the same time preserving the intimacy of their contents.
Thus, antonyms such as memory and oblivion, clarity and ambiguity or exhibition and discretion, in technical terms as well as in terms of semantics, rather than contradict each other are complementary.
