STEPPING IN AND OUT: CONTEMPORARY DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY

The display presents eight of today's most compelling documentary photography projects. Certain photographers have "stepped in" to communities different from their own; other photographers have "stepped out", to adopt the role of observer within familiar surroundings. The result is provocative and engaging – a fascinating exploration of the possibilities for contemporary documentary photography.
